My favorite classes got my favorite colors, but I also had to make sure the order of the colors would be pleasing to the eye when everything was lined up in my locker.
Yup! The kids all have cubbies and I gave them each a bin. Pink, blue, yellow green. They have to go in that order (I'll toss a pic up in my profile). Now, the kids are assigned a cubby based on their "magic number" (which is basically how the end up in the alphabet. First person on the roster is #1, second is #2..etc). So I have a few boys that wound up with pink bins. Thankfully they didn't complain, because I wasn't changing it! lol
Yes but it makes everything SOoooo much easier and when you have stacks and stacks of paper everyday, you NEED to be organized.
Everything is color-coordinated, even my online gradebook, so I know anything blue is math..etc. I have a file for each kid that I put work samples in and even their folders for math are blue! lol
However, I never have to hunt anything down...if I need math materials I just look for the blue!
