What do you consider is the cost of an average dinner date?

We went out with my son and his wife a couple weeks ago and had this same discussion. Their average "dinner" out (for 2) is $300, but that includes a good bottle of wine. Geez, this is in rural Wyoming, folks. I didn't think our restaurants were overpriced.

I need to get a job in his field. $300.00 for an average meal is incredible.

We live in an expensive area so I'd say $60 if alcohol is not included. DH has expensive tastes when it comes to tequila.

That's why I'm really a big fan of cooking, I enjoy it (most of the time), I get a meal exactly how I like it, and I know what it's made with.

average, prolly 60-100 a dinner for two. Ive gone to places like Charlie Trotters in the past, and paid 1400 for a dinner for two. It really depends on where you want to eat
