Last night I went to the gig, he greeted me at the door, complimented me on my outfit, kissed me etc, then proceeded to *virtually* ignore me for the rest of the night, so I left early.
So here I am confused. His female partner had queried whether I "liked" him or not so I thought he'd told her he liked me....? (she loves me).

I just remembered that when he was playing his first set I walked in from another room and he altered the lyrics to something sexier, for my benefit I think.
Because I hate anything like public emotion I just turned away. That's possibly rude to do to someone who's performing fantastic music in a small club.
It may have been interpreted as a snub...?
Oh I don't know, looking back over my life and my LOUSY choice in men, I think I will stop going to his gigs.

I'm still baffled by your intent with this thread, but I'll treat it like a lament. Sorry you're frustrated. I've given you grief when you take gratuitous shots at men, which you're doing again, but this portion of the thread seems genuine. So again, you seem frustrated and confused, and that's no fun.
You've spun a couple of yarns from your dealings with men, and they seem to have similar outcomes. So either you're right, and all of your issues with men are the various men's faults, or there's another explanation.
My guess is that if you put your mind to it you could do better than the boob grabber.

But where did I say the issues are the "men's fault"? I blame myself for putting myself in a vulnerable position again when I know better.
Reason this guy? I like him. Simple as that. I get hit on constantly, I'm not joking about that, but it's because I go to places everyone's old and busted and there's no choices! It's just the society I live in. Old rockers from the 70s and 80s.
I also treat everyone with respect which some misinterpret as interest. I let the town drunk dribble on politely and he gets ideas.
I just don't know, when A stroked my hair and neck and called me baby - what was that? It felt really good and was enough to make the other dude hanging around to leave cos he thought I was taken.
