I remember when I was young a bunch of kids were playing spin the bottle. I asked if I could play and all the girls yelled NO! Of course these were some of the most popular girls in the school. The sad thing is that most of them as adults seem to be doing pretty well. Many of them are married. So guys what happened to the mean girls at your school? How are they as adults?
I don't know - but I think a lot of "mean" kids grow up to be nice adults. Who we are as children isn't necessarily who we are going to be as adults. A lot of "mean" kids are insecure and put others down to make themselves feel better. It doesn't really work in the long run and a lot of them figure that out. Some don't - but I don't really care - I just choose not to be friends with people like that.
I don't know any of them anymore. Last I saw of a few of the ones who deemed themselves too good for me, now have 4 kids by three different men, and/or look like the ugly truck hit them, so, that's fine by me. lol
Since I'm from a small town and lots didn't move too far from home, so it's fairly easy to know "whatever happened to..." in a lot of cases. As for the mean girls, it's a mixed bag...some outgrew it, some didn't. Jobs, marriage, etc., again, it's all across the board.
As far as I can determine, the six or so biggest bullies and a-holes I ever knew didn't live past 22. Three were killed instantly in a car crash just after graduating high school. One tried to rob a 7-11 and was shot to death (she was frequently mistaken for a guy). The other two died while they were in the military.
One of them that I knew dropped out of HS and had 4 or 5 kids by a couple of different men. Became a grandma in her early 30's and has never worked a day in her life.
