I have none but I have friends who do and it seems to limit their abilities to get classy girls. For a hook up tattoos are irrelevant to me but I would never date someone long term with tattoos because it's trashy. thoughts?

I am conservative re: ink, so I don't like tattoos that you can't cover up if you choose to do so. But I am not opposed to tattoos.

I also have this weird thing where I don't think men should get calf tattoos, at least not before they get ink on more logical places like arms.

One random giant calf tattoo peeking out from cargo shorts is a huge turnoff to me for some reason.

I have the same tattoo requirements for short term/long term dating. They should be kept at a minimum.

A few that are decently done aren't a deal breaker for me, but a guy covered in them is a huge turn off.

I would never tattoo myself to high hell or anything, I have 3. I don't think it's trashy though. Tattoos are becoming more and more mainstream. True story: I work in the medical field and I know a woman who just finished her rotations as a doctor and she has five ear piercings in one ear and a 'back piece' tattoo. Certain careers it might not work but again that's becoming few and far between at least in America. As far as men I LOVE guys with tattoos. Bring on the Travis Barkers of the world. :P

From my experience, someone without tattoos has the potential to attract both people with and without tattoos, while someone with tattoos might be a turn off to potential dates.

I have none, but I am not opposed to simple tattoos on male upper bodies/arms. Too many= turn off for me.

I'm OK with tattoos except when it comes to dating. Absolute deal breaker, no matter the size.

I don't have any tattoos either.

Ugh, 100% deal breaker for me.

Tattoos are fine on cattle or swine as a means for identification.

I draw the line when they show up on humans.

1 or 2 tattoos is fine. But I don't want a guy covered in them.

I have 1 myself. But it's nothing gross or big. It's on the back of my shoulder, and it's just a butterfly.

But I don't think i'll be getting anymore than that.
