I can only answer for myself.... I wouldn't fantasize about anyone I knew. To that's a slippery slope that could turn into something else. Otherwise, I think every does it.

I will add, though, that those fantasies about celebrities should be kept for times when you are by yourself. When you're with your partner it should be about them, physically, mentally, and emotionally.
There isn't anything wrong with it. Whether or not someone is in a relationship, they're still going to have fantasies about someone or something. Just hope it isn't about a friend because that can get pretty complicated.

I've never fantasized that my husband was someone else WHILE being intimate. I think I'd feel kinda unfaithful... but that's just me.

Fantasies can be great, even healing, when they are kept to, and worked out by, yourself.
The problem with bringing a fantasy into reality is that the reality of the experience almost always falls short of the excitement you get when it is left to your imagination alone. Its almost impossible for reality to live up to the situation you have created in your imagination.
That part wasn't about you, it was just adding to the discussion in general. Sorry I didn't make that clear
