A college ex of mine and I had been talking recently and she invited me to trivia night at a local bar with a few of her friends. The girl I sat next too happened to be her high school best friend (who I had hear about, but never met before). We talked a little, but nothing serious. I texted my ex the next day asking if she could set us up. Ex played my wingman at dinner/bar the next weekend and I got to talk to my GF for about 2 hours. Asked her out on our first date later that night.
Funny thing is that my ex met her current BF at the bar that night, after "going outside to take a call."
Lots of people here must be lying, since we're told over and over OLD doesn't work for men.
Last person I dated I met at a bar, or really the lounge of a restaurant.
