It depends where you are and who your friends are. It also depends if you live in an area where life revolves around family and marriage. Also, the majority of people equate single with fun because most people marry at the age of 26 or 27 so, yes more than likely you will have more fun. If you are older and single though it gets tough because friends get married and have children. I also feel that their is a lot of discrimination against older singles, especially women. When you are single, work gets dumped on you. Sometimes bosses will pass up a single person for a promotion because they think you don't need the money. Why does everyone think that same sex marriage is such a big deal? It is all about the money!! No one ever addresses the singles issue which is the root cause of most of these issues.
