If a person has little to no past, and someone asks them questions about their life, is it acceptable to lie and make up stories. If you were on a date and you don't have anything to say about yourself it would probably be very boring.
Nobody has "little to no" past. A 25 year old person has 25 years worth of "past." There may not be a lot of significant events, but we all are what we all are and it is stupid to lie about it to make it sound like we are more than we actually are.
What do you mean, you don't have a past? Were you born yesterday, full-grown from your mother's womb? You've never been to school, read an interesting book to discuss, had a job, enjoyed music, gone on summer vacations or travelled? You have nothing to share about yourself with anyone? No life experience, no hopes and dreams for the future? No family, no hobbies, no thoughts about life or where yours is headed? It's clear you have no moral compass, that much we know.
You're right; a guy like that would be not only pretty boring, but downright freaky. Maybe you should run away and join the circus. That would give you something to talk about.

If you are currently breathing at any age you have some sort of past.
It may not be exciting but it is a past and everyone has one.
You never lie about anything like that, especially if you are wanting to start
a romantic relationship with someone.
Lies are never good in relationships.
