I will add that, yes, my libido does vary during the month. I actually have two "peaks" - one at ovulation, and one during my period (except the first day and a half or so). Those times it's not so much frequency that changes, but I'm more likely to initiate during those times, especially if it has been more than a few days. During the rest of the month, my husband typically has to initiate most of the time.
I'm one of them. The sad part due to me not being not very physically attractive and socially awkward, getting a man to interest me without just sex is difficult to come by. I refuse to a man's booty call.
And yes, being physically attractive is part of the game. Anyone who says otherwise is full of baloney. Even many "plain Janes" are better looking than I am.

Sex drive will vary based on the quality of sex she gets. If you want her drive to go up, routinely give her really good orgasms. If she dislikes sex--or you--it won't make much of a difference, but oxytocin and endorphins are released during orgasm for a reason.
To clarify, by "routinely give her really good orgasms," I mean "be an active participant in discovering what turns her on and do things that she enjoys." If she's a dud starfish there's not much that can be done.
Like others have said, sex drives ebb and flow. Exhaustion, stress, worrying, job troubles, money troubles, etc, can certainly affect the drives in both men and women alike.
OP, you can meet a woman tomorrow who wants to be on your jock 5 times a day. And then something happens to her or in her life and that drive may plummet.
Personally, although I am not as in shape as I was in my 20's, I have found that being older has still made me more comfortable in my own skin and therefore, my drive is just FINE.
