And she was so sure that whatever reason he had for not calling, was a good one.

This is hilarious - there's another thread with a guy going on about how a woman he went on a date with didn't call him back for FIVE days and he figures she doesn't really care that much so he's not gonna see her again...

Yep. Because I know this forum. Only reason it might not happen now is because I've said as much and they are biting their tongues in an effort to prove me wrong. But we all know who they are and what they're thinking.

I'd be a bit creeped out if someone did that, just showed up 2 weeks later expecting me to be available or willing to talk to him, much less be open to the prospect of dating him.

Then again, I never put much stock in "I'll call you." If you meet a guy in a club and hook up like that, you pretty much have to assume it's a one-nighter. I have had relationships grow out of something like that, but the guys called within a couple of days--which surprised the heck out of me.
