I'm going to be honest with myself today ... I haven't gotten over someone I dated about two years ago. My sister told me I'm pathetic. She's right.

dunno, but:

- i never dated much before
- dating/societal info on dating is confusing, too much things people say and don't mean. **** like "smile" or "be nice!" and people when i was a teen never did that.
- there are some points i didn't get as a tween, and missed out
- i've neglected my execrise plan, and gained some weight, but i'm getting it back on track. down to 190 lbs by this time in March/April.
- i don't get out enough, mainly due to work and some previous clubs not working out. I took yoga, but the teacher and the students say **** behind my back, and a dance class but then the instructor is a ***** who has it in for me. meh, not my issue, such is life, i move on and forget.

St. Louis is a different place from Atlanta. I don't know much about the dating scene there.

To be honest...I've dated a lot of men for money. They wanted sex. I gave it to them. I got fed up and stop putting out. Got my Masters degree. Started a business. Making more money than the men I dated. No longer need them. I'm satisfied. Most importantly, I have a young son and God to meet my needs.
Sexually speaking...I miss that. I have been approached by many men since making these decisions and despite the longing for it I am better off alone.

It is a matter of time, indeed. I feel much better than I did a year ago but it's still a work in progress.
