Moderator cut: discussing moderator actions

Yesterday, I found a handwritten note from her on my desk, it read "Thanks for making me smile, I have come to really enjoy our interesting conversations". Not gonna lie, it made my day but obviously, girls that age are easily impressed.

I had not seen her in almost a week and I saw her later yesterday, she was super friendly and we talked again. She told me she was really tired and she had to walk 15 minutes back to her place. I thought about offering her a ride but I am glad I didnt because I am sure something would have happened.

What to do?

Find a 30s meetup group and grow up. All these single, beautiful grown women in this world and you're pursuing a teenager? You need some self esteem.

As a Man you do realize you're asking for trouble. If you could do sex only, I'd say go for it but you'll pay a huge price if you Bed this girl on a regular basis.

You'll be paying child support and have this woman in your life the next 20-30 years whether you like her or not.

You have no idea what you are talking about. First of all, I am not "pursuing" anybody. Things just happened as we interacted with each other.

Secondly, I live in a college town and I don't see any of these "single, beautiful, grown" women you are referring to, vast majority of women my age in this area are horrific!

She's half your age...literally.

I wouldn't take anything too seriously from someone that much younger than me. You were that age once, and you already said if you had a daughter her age, you would not be comfortable with someone that much older than her talking to her like that.

It is true some relationships like that have worked out, but it's rare. This more than likely would just end up as a fling, a fantasy. Nothing more.

You're both over 18. Do what you want to do.

Nothing wrong with having younger friends as long as thats as far as it goes, you probably can impart much wisdom to the young lady as long as it doesnt go beyond just friendship. In my day to day existence i am very friendly with many women half my age at the gymn,at the pool at the grocery store,i enjoy the friendly conversations and camaraderie but also realize thats as far as i want to let it go.
As you are both over 18 i'm not saying you cant take the relationship further but with the age difference there would come major social problems.

You already know in your gut that's it's not something to pursue, so why keep making threads about it?

She's half your age and you work at the school she attends. Either of those would be dealbreakers for most, let alone in combination.
