What's something you liked about a past S/O or hope to find in a future partner?

There's a lot of negative waves on here lately, so this is intended to spread some positive ones.

Although I imagine this could go south very quickly

Cooking new recipes together with happy anticipation.

Sharing our vulnerabilities and conquering them as one.

Being so close that we start to experience the world through each other's respective eyes.

Backdoor action.

You're welcome.

Bring out the best in me. She makes me think and pull stuff out that is buried deep from within both my heart and mind. I've been doing this stuff my whole life. It comes natural for me and is very easy.

Most men are lost when they try to keep up......

It's coming fast and hard in all directions.

Be ready for it.

A lot of communication. I had that in my marriage and believe it's what made us such a strong couple (he died). We sat and talked and played cards or whatever for 8-12 hours every week. I'd love to have that with someone else someday.

And this second one relates to the first, but I want to be with someone that I know and understand well on all levels, and who is the same with me.

Oh, and a healthy amount of hugs and touching each other, and a compatible sex life.

One that doesn't find me a soft touch and takes liberties would be nice

Thanks for being positive.

I would like someone with... Wait for it... A good sense of humor.

I like having someone to fill my personality gaps. I'm not very organized, so a "planner" mentality helps (though that's one of those qualities that quickly switches from "endearing" to "annoying" when you're IN the relationship).

Ego boosting. Turns me to putty if you can sell it (or if it's authentic, I'll take either!)

Her smile. Even after 30 years, it's still devastating.
