I'm sure I'd be okay in most major U.S. cities, but I'd shine most in blue-state liberal cities, not only because there would be more men to my liking, but because I'm happiest in that environment and happy is attractive.
A suburb would be nightmarish, although if it's inside the D.C. Beltway, I'd probably be okay.

I live in an inner suburb of Northern VA, and it does more feel like an extension of DC than an actual suburb. I'd say the same for Alexandria inside the Beltway as well as Bethesda on the MD side.
Both Las vegas and Los Angles, without money forget dating any of these women, Las vegas is a nightmare, the new gold digger capital.
I've never lived in Las Vegas, but I would imagine it to be a very hard market to date in.
It has a very transient population. People might work for one of the hospitality companies for a short time and then leave, There are not a lot of Fortune 500 HQs there for a city for its size. It's only real industry is tourism based. It is more of a party city than a day-to-day real life city.
The state of Nevada is known to have a high divorce rate.
I dated in the DC Metro area for years and years and years and it sucked. The quantity was fine...the quality, not so much. I lived in the LA area for just under a year and didn't have much luck there, either.
I then moved to a much smaller city and that's when I met my husband. Go figure!
LA and the whole 100 mls around it. Everybody is too self absorbed and thinks they can do better.
