Great movie that all single guys should be required to watch. To the OP, doesn't sound like all is lost yet, just chill out. After the first date only contact her to make the second date unless she contacts you before then. You want to build some anticipation not overwhelm her. Having said that, it doesn't sound like she is very interested quite frankly, whenever a woman says she is busy it means she busy for you. If Zac Efron texted her, trust me, she wouldn't be too busy.
