Well, that was a fun adventure. Half a tank of diesel and a u joint needing to be replaced topped off with rain and a thunderstorm. Perfect time to take a less than ideal road.

Didn't need four wheel drive so the u joint was a moot point. It turned in to a nonevent.

I was never a corny one liner guy with women, but I do find myself thinking that if I were ever to be signle again how I'd start to drop some corny one liners on the ladies..

LOL, one of them would go along these lines if I saw a really good looking woman. "Tell your mamma I said thank you." LOL

Stupid line, but I still giggle every time I think about dropping that one on some poor woman. LOL.....

Bruce Bruce is my hero.

I had such grand plans for getting stuff done over the long weekend, yet here I am, still in my pajamas drinking coffee and dicking around on the interweb. I did do some yardwork yesterday, so at least my neighbors won't be calling the city on me.

Welcome to my weekend. At least I'm wearing pants. About to take the dog for a walk.

It's Labor Day in the States, or kind of like what your people would call "Summer Bank Holiday"

Theoretically it's to honor the contributions of laborers, unions, working people, etc. Some communities have parades and events, but most people just have the day off and eat hot dogs, maybe go swimming, etc.
