However, all the hospitals in my state are beginning to fill up. Worse part is, we're not even in the 2nd wave yet. We're still in the 1st. Such a delay in testing results though too currently. The major labs are at best a week out in some cases. Meanwhile those getting tested aren’t quarantining until and IF they get results...compounding the spread.

I was loaned to the health department for one month for Covid tracing, then asked my employer for an end to that commitment, even though this tracing seems to have no end in sight. Thoroughly frustrating for so many reasons, especially when people value their privacy over the health of others.

Covid Tracing Interviewer:
“And where do you work?” “Have you been going to work?”

Silence.

Failed to see the point of vague posts like that. Que sera, sera.

My blood was point a couple hours ago. When I am mad I get stuff done, ran a meeting in 5 minutes. I almost tendered my resignation. I still might.

Sometimes the best lesson is learned from dogs. There are instances where you need to kick some grass over it and move on.

One of the things I like about this thread is the absence of arguing.... for the most part. It’s nice to be able to just chat with folks and have a respite from all the craziness that is going on right now.
People seem to check their attitude at the door. ( again... for the most part). I hope that it stays this way..

I do enough arguing. If I am here, I am not here to argue. Despite my posting history and past actions to the contrary that is how I function now. In doing that, I have become dismissive of people. I am bad about that in life too. I am too quick to write people off.

Agreed. Some of the most opinionated verbose debaters are often seen right here. Behaving neighborly. I’m quite sure if we all fell down into the POC sewer there would be some conflicting views, but it’s a nice change of pace.

Not sure if everyone understood my "joke"? I've been friendly with metamorphosis for years. Her status line, or whatever it's called, says, "In the State of Apathy." Her post that I quoted says "." Once again, I go over like a lead balloon.
