I asked her if she wanted to get dinner and she said yes, and scheduled a time and place. So we are flirting/texting a bit and she says, "I just want you to know this is just as friends, is that cool?"
What the hell? After how forward she was?
My guess is she's just trying to cover her bases so if we hook up she doesn't feel like a ****.
I have a few friends like that. They just like to be flirtatious and get attention with guys. Take a bunch of selfies, post em on social media. Yeah sometimes you gotta take it with a grain of salt, just cause she fiirts with you, unfortunately doesn't mean she is interested.
Option #1: You were vague in asking her out which told her YOU aren't really interested in her and now she's backpedaling.
