Well I can testify to this... my ex was a stay at home dad (not willingly) for a while and when I came home from work and the house was clean..... well... let's just say it was one of our 'good' days.

I've always been uncomfortable with a guy doing housework in my home. All I ask is they pick up after themselves, for instance, don't leave clothes and dishes lying around. But do dishes and such? No. It makes me about as uneasy as having your mother or mother-in-law come in and start working. I don't know why, I've just never liked it or allowed it. Yard work, they can do all day long. I don't mind.

I say baloney to this. I once cleaned all the floors, the restrooms, did the dishes, vacumed and cleaned the bedrooms and office, put new linens on the bed, dusted the furniture, and put away all the laundry. I was all excited, did some tai chi, took my vitamins, drank a Red Bull before the wife came home because I knew it was going to be "business time" all night. She walked in, looked around, said "You cleaned? Good for you. Im tired, and Im going to sleep. Good night".
Last time I ever did any of that stupid women's work.
Make sense. If a woman works full time outside the home plus has to take care of the home and children, she's too exhausted for sex and resents her husband basically dumping 2 full time jobs on her.
If he does his share of the household duties, then she has more energy and respect for him.
