I don't see where she did anything wrong she seems like a good person and you still got some entertainment out of it at least. You said you went on 6 dates with her and then confronted her, and that you wished she would have said something sooner. It's possible she was still trying to give it a chance, sort of teeter tottering and not sure, but when put on the spot she had to make a decision.
I would much rather be given a 6 date chance than a one and done date. I feel like if they gave me 6 dates it's definitely that they're just not into me whereas if they do a one and done and ghost - I second guess myself and wonder if I did something wrong that could have been improved on in a subsequent date. It's sort of like not getting a job when you only get one shot at an interview.
