What are some things/methods you would do to "stake" your claim on someone to show that He's mine // or She's mine..

Of course beside the marriage paperwork..

Introduce him as your boyfriend or whatever word you use to mean exclusive?

But I have to ask - why are you having to publicly "stake" your claim? Are you afraid everyone won't know he's off limits to them? Maybe he should be the one communicating that?

Don't need to stake a claim... she'll be the one to let them know. If I am not confident of that, then she isn't the person for me.

Make him get a tattoo of my name on his neck.

Seriously, is it insecurity or trust issue for you? You can't make a claim on someone and expect them to stay with you.

Vocalize it.

See what their reaction is and what they say. That's the best way to accomplish this. I'm not sure what stage in your relationship that you're in though.

Regardless, I've made mistakes where I didn't vocalize it soon enough, and instead my actions resulted in me being in compromising situations.

Actions speak louder than words, but let your actions speak after your words. Speak your words first and then watch the follow through.

I've always been of the opinion, if someone else wants him, they can have him. No leashes in my relationships.
