Okay, the fact they were female 'friends' doesn't really answer the question, but I'm not surprised considering I replied to a post that questions where someone will find a virgin, and then states they found six of them.
The ones that wait usually do nothing else after marriage. Morning, noon, and night like they are trying to make up for all that time they never had sex. Then they have 9 kids, homeschool, and dress weird. Or was that a TV show?
This made me laugh! But truthfully everyone I know who waited till marriage (only a few) actually lived a similar lifestyle. Minus the TV show.

Seriously though, I find the chase more thrilling then sex and there's not much chasing going on these days. I've purposely not slept with girls for a month and they end up thinking somethings wrong. I don't remember ever meeting a virgin female past college.
It says right in his post - his observation. It's based off of his observation. Which is a lot more than can be said from the opining of several posters in this thread.

Just because a majority of people are doing something, that doesn't mean its the 'superior' thing to do.
I.ve met a couple of young men who were saving themselves for marriage. It wasn't for religious reasons either. They wanted to experience sex on the level of 'special'.
Are they right? Will it be 'special'? Probably. I don't think anyone can say they have ever had a better sex partner than someone they truly love.
Because if you are married, true love is guaranteed.

Because enjoying sex = not thinking highly of yourself.
From a religious standpoint, it's better for me to wait as I won't have to deal with unwanted STDs, and I get to learn her body, what she likes, etc. I'm going to keep it real: I wouldn't want an experienced woman as I view them as used cars: lots of mileage and susceptible to maintenance issues.
With an attitude like that, you're going to be waiting a long time.
