You gotta admit though , that was a strange way to react around my daughter, twice.
All this tap-dancing when you could just ask her out and see if she likes you that way. How are we supposed to know why she looks away from your daughter? You're snipping at people who are trying to help you so yeah...you go find out. I hope it all turns out the way you want.

Probably assuming your daughter is your girlfriend or you are married with children.

Want to make your interest known, say something. It's not head games, it's a misunderstanding.

Ahh , well a few sure have a tone about them , no surprises ,but most as usual are just reasonable people and appreciated.

No sniping going on , or head games or tap dancing, or anything else.

Haha yeah , could be as simple as that it does happen with my daughter.
But she's harmless, as gentle as a lamb.

I'm sure she knows, though, that a striking appearance will get noticed, and not always in the way we would want.

Having said that, I hate it when people who are usually friendly suddenly are NOT when I show up in the company of another person. It's weird, and it IS noticeable.

So ... I am betting that she was confused by your daughter's appearance AND maybe wondering about her relationship to you. Right or wrong, sometimes seeing someone with a family member influences how we think of that person.

If you really want to see if anything is happening with this woman, turn on the charm and ask her questions that she has to take a minute to answer. Or pretend you need her help finding something in the store, even if you really don't, just to set the stage for a longer interaction.

At that point, you can ask something like, "When you get off work, do you want to get a quick drink or something?" or whatever works in your area.

Her response will probably tell you everything you need to know about how to go forward. And if she says no, for Pete's sake, continue to shop there and just be friendly and normal.

Maybe the chick doesn't want to be bothered by a hawk.

Ahh thanks for going to that trouble , nice of you.
Yeah my d is funny , and yeah she's well aware,
Of course long hair split down the middle half black half purple tends to get some looks too. But funny , it's just her, we just strut about together quite happily but yep , she gets some looks.
People even come up to her , comment, wanna touch her hair, others turn away.
Small minds , if only they knew her heart of gold and her B's and A's at school or saw her artwork.
