Yes and describing this sad situation on Twitter for the whole world to see is "taking the high road"? I disagree. Somehow the women are not expected to take a high road; only men are.

I of course don't know anything about this guy but I hope he sent this as a practical joke...

Who said or implied that only men are expected to take the high road? I've never seen that.

Fine distance herself by all means, but at least be considerate and take the 30 seconds and say no thanks then distance away.

Sure, unless her spidy sense says this guy is unhinged in some way (potentially dangerous) than I agree with you.

Still, his actions showed that she was probably wise to listen to her senses, any guy that would consider this course of action as a serious screw loose. Not odd in a funny way, but pretty "off".

(And perhaps its just me, but I don't consider not replying to a single text to be ghosting as I miss texts daily).

Ghosting is all apart of dating and relationship for some couples. On any stage of the relationship or marriage, someone could get ghosted.

You're not going to be reimbursed a penny for it. There's people out there who have bought engagement rings for their fiance, it didn't work, and the judge decided it was a gift that can be kept or some other expensive gift that was given during the relationship. (most courts will call it a conditional gift that must be given back)

The moral of the story is pick your partner carefully. There's men who wake up married one day and divorced the next because their spouse decided to ghost them and leave them because it's not what they wanted.

He may have sent it either as a joke or to make a point but the fact that he then followed up a week later seems to indicate he feels more strongly about it than that. JMO.

No, she didn't take the high road but so? He did something SO SCREAMIN' RIDICULOUS that she Tweeted about it. I don't think her Tweeting about this makes what he did any less...well...yeah. Funny? Nuts? Take your pick, LOL! But yes, when absolutely bizarre things happen to people, they do Tweet about them, and let's face it, this one took the cake.

I'm not much of a social media you-know-what but I think it's pretty obvious she posted about it because it was just so out there. Not because she is classless and so on. Be real, this was the nuttiest thing ever, it's going to get around.

For anyone wondering why a woman might not respond with a rejection via text, and prefer to just remain silent, see the "Bye Felipe" Instagram account.
