i read the OP thinking they meant in regards to social media lol. which i think is definitely true. i think the people who post the most about their relationship on social media have the weakest relationships. I think people who are happy and in good relationships don't post as much because they don't need the validation.

Weird , a few mths back my brother wanted me to come over for a drink and l said no can do , T and me are skyping.
He says ahh , she's os right now , come and enjoy yourself.
l said man , no offense but goin out for drinks couldn't even compare to us skyping or fun we have , if only you knew. l couldn't explain it to him or probably anyone though anyway it's too private,beyond.
He goes yeahhhh, what , how , he has zero comprehension.

He's been with his gf 18yrs , but l think as close they come to some real intensity he understands is when they fight , which is a lot.

Ha, same here, I like the way you said that. My BF and I are kinda old, so I don't want to come across sounding like a dopey teen...but sometimes I feel like a dopey teen. So yes, I use general terms and make vague "it's all good" noises if asked.
