Well, she should have at least said thank you, but if you want to go out with her or something, you're going to have to do more than that. Ask her out or tell her that you want to date her. Her grandmother probably tells her she's pretty too.

Nothing wrong with a man hitting on a woman. Some women are just prudes (or more likely married already and have a different mindset).
And some of the guys are just straight out c&ckblockers.
All I know is that as a single 34 yo guy if some women I was conversing with told me that I was "hot af" I'd be the first one down at the court house filing a restraining order. lol

Nobody is saying it's taboo. What some of you don't seem to get is that it matters how you do it.
Why don't you just walk up to a woman and tell her that, maybe because you realize there ARE boundaries?

Oh please. I've told a couple of guys that and no one filed a restraining order on me. In fact, they were flattered and loved it.
Of course I was hitting on her lol And yes I was being sincere.
Well, that's why she froze. She wasn't expecting it. Plus, you put her on the spot; she didn't know how to respond. That would be especially awkward if she's not into you that way.
