Wow, I guess I see some big age differences in some posts.
A gal I dated from 1988 until early 1994, which turned out to be 15 years older than I am.
In late 1987, I met this gal who told me she was only 4 years older than I am. We got into a serious relationship by late 1988 and I thought things were going great. Until the middle of 1993, when what I thought was her cousin mentioned to me that she was my girlfriend's daughter, and another girl, whom I also thought was her daughter turned out to be her grand daughter from another daughter I thought was another cousin.. That was when things changed, and I confronted the gal I was dating, with what was revealed to me, and she admitted that she had lied to me about her age, and her family. She turned to be 15 years older. I wasn't sure what to do because at the time she was 51 and I was 36. We continued seeing each other for a few more months, until early 1994, but we decided that it was better to go our seperate ways. Long story. But I'll tell you one thing, even though she was almost 52 when her and I split, she didn't look a day over 35.
Bottom line is, if there's a sizeable age difference between you, then you should know about it right away, not later.
I was sayin cuz the 'trophy' thing usually wears off after your 20s
