So I was thinking about it.... what makes a guy tell a woman that he's an alpha male (assuming she didn't ask)?
God, I would HOPE the reason was he was trying to be funny and said it with tongue in cheek.
Well, after thinking about it, I guess I could see a scenario where he might say "I work a lot of long hours getting my own business off the ground. I have an alpha type personality I guess."

I would hope so too. I'm not sure how I would react. If he said it in an authoritarian way I would be turned off. I'm very independent and don't do well with controlling types of men. I believe in balance in a relationship.
I’d imagine he’s probably one of those guys who watches these online grifters tell you how to pick up women and one of the main things they say is to be “alpha”
