OMG,too funny Sierra!! It is so true. Men get along better with their mil's than the women do. Mommy thinks girls aren't good enough for their sonny boys!! I get the digs once in a while but set her straight.......so hopefully she won't mess with me again. I called her a selfish bi--- and she has been nicer lol.! *she never gives my kids more than a buck or two for christmas or birthdays!1 dollar in a card is insulting..keep it and just send the damn card LOL)

What do you call her?
By her first name?
Mom? (Never!!!)
Mrs... so and so...
Monster-in-Law! LOL>>>>.
or None of the Above? Has to be censored>LOL
Now do you mean to her face or behind her back ?? lol
I call her by her first name, my Mum died several years ago and my opinion is you only have one Mum. My Mother in Law certainly does not deserve to be called Mum.

How weird is it that after being married for nearly 17 years I don't call my MIL anything at all!?!? No one uses her first name, I'm not calling her mom because we aren't that close (although we do get along fine), Mrs. MIL just seems so formal after 17 years, most people call her Sister MIL (she is a pastors wife, very traditional), and she has never invited me to call her anything at all. My SIL's have the same issue...we just don't call her anything. We can use 'Grandma' when talking to the kids or 'your mom' when talking to DH but when speaking to her directly I don't use a personal address.

When the time comes my future D/SIL's are welcome to call me by my first name. I suppose they could call me mom if they are comfortable with that.

I'd call her a man's worst nightmare. A cruel woman.

That's not even funny. I hope that you never get married. Now not only do I feel sorry for your future s/o, but now I feel extreme sympathy for your future mother-in-law.
