That you can count on, unless some stringent rules attempt to crush our free spirits! Deal!

Shoot, we forgot about your retired parents… Later. I’m kinda busy and selfishly make time only for my own stuff.

I was an only child, which explains a lot...

You have a great day and week, too, Rcm!

Since when did Rcm become "people"...? Or does he have multiple personalities, too?

Would it be ok if I did you two by proxy because Ray, Munchausen, Wayne, Ted and Aileen all need to be somewhere and I'm the only driver. lol....I'm kinda busy. Gacy is such a clown.

My parents retired years ago and off they went. We built a house next to theirs so that the grandchildren could enjoy them and they were there about two months a year. They took off to a summer home for about eight months, home two months and then off to Florida for two months. I was happy for them but sort of was sad that my kids, five of them, didn't have more time with them. Now that I have grandchilden, three and one on the way, I want more and more time with them. If they weren't around I would be off doing more I'm sure.

They might be in Maine during the summer one year and Florida in the winter or like this year working the summer for the EPA in Alabama then working for Costco selling nuts where ever they send them through the winter. They need new stimulation more than most teens. At 70 it seems life is always new, talking to them is like talking with kids, always a new adventure. They would rather be in their bus than their home any day. I find it amazing how easy it is for them. They are visiting my brother now, just out from a job in DC where they were compensated $2000 for a 6 day gig, they will be headed home in the morning and will visit me on Wednesday then off to where ever. When they want it Costco pays them around $52,000 a year to be sample people plus expenses, Gas, living expenses to travel including travel parks or resorts. Last winter they were in 5 locations in Florida having a blast. For me it is so great talking on the phone with them and always having something new to talk about.
Me I know I would never be happy being lazy, I think I would love to be involved helping disaster victims or anything where I was needed. Who knows but it would be so cool to be that pumped at their age.
OK, now I read it. So, what's your point? What else can I tell ya other than I envy them and I'd LOVE to be them!
