someone i was talking to today said they didn't use protection when having sex. i'm not out there dating but if i was in this day and age i think it's scary and foolish not to practice safe sex. so the question is "do you practice safe sex?" and if no why not?
i counsel my friends, gay or straight, to use protection EVERY time. some are just lazy, other's selfish. got an email from a gay friend that his CD4 count dropped 600 points in 4 months. he may have to start meds in december after they retest
i demand all my lovers use protection or there is no sex. i love me that much

i think that's a powerful message. if you don't love yourself enough how can you expect anyone else to.

I am no longer single and have not been in the dating world for 16 years now, but I did not like the way condoms felt so I did not want the guy to wear one. I would be dating the guy for awhile before doing anything. My husband had a HIV test when we were dating, before we did anything, because there was alot hype about AIDS back then and it made me nervous. Condoms feel terrible, I would rather not do anything than to have to use them. People should use them. Just not me. If I was ever single again I would have him get tested rather than use condoms.
you can do other sexual things besides have sexual intercourse derrr
