My boyfriend is more a car/dirt bike kind of guy. He actually has an old Ford manual transmission diesel dually pickup as a tow vehicle, but it's not worth using except when towing his racecar.

In terms of what impresses me in terms of what a guy drives, I need him to drive a stock looking older foreign sportscar with a manual transmission. No auto tranny, domestic cars or trucks. Flashy ricey looking Japanese cars turn me off. A well kept e30 BMW is very sexy to me. Also nay to stupid aggressive driving maneuvers and he can't enjoy going to the dragstrip. No NASCAR fans either. Yes to F1 racing and rally events.

Do other women think this way or is it just me? And if this stereotype were true..would u want a truck man or a car guy? I'd have to say mine is a truck man.

Ha! So funny! When I first met my husband, I would've lost BIG money... I thought for sure he drove a truck. But he's a car guy. I mean, he owns a truck now, a classic '54 Ford, but it's not a "work truck".

And he also blows the stereotype away, as my husband used to build homes and business for a living, yet he always drove a car.

Maybe that stereotype is there 'cuz most guys you see at places like Home Depot or Lowe's are construction people with trucks?!?!?!

SierraAZ... A Dodge Magnum would be considered a station wagon. (side note: I *heart* Dodge Magnum's! *drool*)

Ah ha!!! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!! Harry Boyle / Clark Griswald / Mike Brady / Al Bundy guy.

Id drive one of those sub compact cars like the guy on free credit report commercials before driving a station wagon. Unless its one of those cool jeep or volkswagon station wagons with the wood paneling. Those are pretty cool.
