Cheap Salt & Pepa CD... (KIDDING). Worse thing was at a company Holiday Party with a holiday gift game. I got stuck with a Waylon Jennings CD that (of course) no one was about to take from me.

Which reminds me of a joke I heard too many times in my Navy career.

Q. Why do Sailors use powdered soap instead of soap on a rope?

A. It takes longer to pick up!

I got my 8 year old a Scooby Doo chia pet. I know he'll hate me for it.

Last Christmas a guy I was dating gave me a Nickelback (whom I HATE) CD. We broke up a week later. Coincidence?

Two of the worst that I received were:

A CD for a band whose genre I am not the largest fan, but the gifter is, and what's worse, it was autographed for me. As a borderline groupie, she went out of her way to get them to do this, so I have opened it and keep it in the collection, but never play it.

The second was a bathrobe that was, conservatively, cut 3x my frame. The robe was followed up with a comment of "we guessed on the size." I didn't know that I looked as though I had gained 150lbs, but thanks. LOL Thankfully the superb customer service at LL Bean made seamless the exchange of my XXL for the M that I required.
