I did. And I attend a church where many of the women, until very recently still wore hats. I always found that it added just an extra something to the entire look. Somehow, it just evoked a sense of grace. I miss that.

Your life sounds like Gone With the Wind, cpg. Most of us simple folks have never seen hats and gloves worn in our lifetime.
Since I worl in law and see quite a few "suits" I also like a man in a nice suit and tie. But he can't be some old guy with a flat tire and a frumpy suit.
