I would probably like to relive age 21 but only because my son was a toddler then and I had so much fun with him. He was a year old and already walking, talking and just getting to that point where he would ask questions by pointing and saying "saaaat" so cute. They grow up so fast.
If I could possibly be stuck at any age I am not sure what that would be. Maybe 40. By that time my son was 20 and more than self-sufficient. All I wanted was to raise him to a point where he could fend for himself then sit back and regroup my life. I divorced his Dad when my son was 11 and raised him alone from that point until he was an adult. At age 40, I was in good health (so I thought) had minimal wrinkles, no gray hair felt good, yes, I believe age 40.
I am now 61 had open heart surgery last year am feeling good, have quit smoking but need to lose weight so my ideal age would be 40. I would probably have healed from surgery faster...sigh
If I had to relive any age it would be the years between 23 and 30 and the years between 1989 and 1995. Those are the years my wife and I began dating and we enjoyed a great courtship and long engagement, not to mention the best music era I ever heard, Grunge. Of course we did not have to worry about a bad economy, job losses and the high cost of homes and taxes back then.
Naw. I didn't drink till I was 21. But who cares about that?
I like where I am right now. I'd freeze frame this. Young, healthy like in your 20s but with a lot more money, free time, and no more climbing. Spent my whole 20s working to get here.
Give me 13 instead. My eighth grade year was my best ever. No other year could top it. Heck, give me high school, middle school, or childhood. I hate college because of all the uneeded fear, peer pressure, and confusion to the point of worry.
