As I sat alone in my brother's nightclub waiting for family, I sipped on a Bailey's. Suddenly, the bartender comes over with a bottle of it in a bucket of ice. It's from an admirer who wishes to remain anonymous, she said.
1-Do you accept or reject it?
2-What's the point in sending someone a whole bottle of Bailey's if you want to remain anonymous? Isn't that just kind of weird?
I would accept the bottle with thanks. If the person wanted to remain anonymous, no problem. If he showed up, (and he was totally gross) I would remind him that he wanted to remain anonymous. And if he was offended offer back his bottle.

That would've been good. I just felt like no matter what I did it was going to be the wrong thing.

HA! And yes, to answer the question above, I would think the sender would want to see your response first before approaching.
BUT ya know, some people are just generous and dont mind making others happy. In that case, accept a gift with a smile

Yeah, I would of opened it right then and there too. If the guy suddenly approached and I wasnt into him, I would just offer him a glass and say I have to get going and leave him with the rest of the bottle.
Some closed minded people on here might say 'I don't take gifts from strangers'.
That would depend on the size of the gift.
