haha no! I've never even been drunk before in my life! I just think it was close to my turning 17 but I can't remember if it was before or after my birthday! It was with what turned out to be my now-husband too!
13 I was in 8th grade... this Italian girl from NY moved into the adjacent neighborhood. Her parents divorced and she moved to FL with her mom. It would be interesting to have the same poll with different age groups. As a baby boomer, In my HS, lots of my buddies were still virgins when they graduated. Only one girl got pregnant out of 450 students, and this was before birth control. I suspect that if there was a second poll of under 30's, age of first sex would be much younger.

Really, what is trotted out as the trend seems to vary based on what agenda the poster has. "These young kids are so irresponsible! Why in my day, there was only one girl pregnant in my whole school!" is one side of it. The other side is, "There's a sex drought going on! Women are too picky and men are going their own way! The entire human species is in jeopardy! Oh noes!" I mean, pick one. I'm sure you can find statistics somewhere online to back up whatever you want to say.
