I asked this question of my nephew's roomie. She is an aspiring fashion photographer. Who knows if she's right or not, but here's what she says: It gives a
better line of curve to the leg that shows up in the photo. For the same reason they have models arch their backs or turn at the waist; a super thin
model especially doesn't have a lot of curves to begin with. So the shoot team positions the model so that her calves appear to have just the right
amount of curve. She also said the sweet innocent look is loved by a lot of designers. Go figure.
i am sorry, but to see this beautiful woman and then scan down the picture and find a pair of "curvy"??? no crooked legs!! it just destroys the whole look!
It's editorial. The whole broken doll look that is considered high fashion. The majority of poses you see you wouldn't find in real life. It makes the photo interesting to the eye...
I know asian girls do it all the time as a "cute" thing along with the various faces and poses they do. I never thought of it as a high fashion thing, it seemed more of a cutesy innocent pose. Its just a feminine pose nothing wrong with it.
After all this years, now I find out that my pigeon toes are actually sexy. Funny part, as a kid, my doctor prescribed knee braces. Thank God that my mother could not afford them because now I am sexy!!
WELL I'M HERE TO SAY THAT I'M PIGEON TOES. IN I LOVE IT, CAUSE ALL THE HEADS I BE TURNING IS CRAZY. BUT THEY KNOW TO COME AT ME LIKE A LADY
yep you seem like a catch
