My boyfriend has more than twice the amount of shoes I own. I have maybe 10 pairs, and he has at LEAST 25. I've never understood the female shoe fetish either.

Same here. My Fiance has a lot more shoes than I do ! I love simple Ballet Flats, elegant , comfortable and perfect for me as I am tall and though I like my shoes I can't say I obsess about them ! I will never understand the appeal of a Manolo Blanik, Christian Louboutin or Jimmy Choo. It looks incredibly uncomfortable and most of them to me look like something a camp drag Queen would wear...

I have a pair of dress shoes that I wear with slacks and a pair I wear with dresses, both are black.

I have a pair of tennis shoes that tie up and a pair of slip on canvas shoes, Rocket Dogs.

Last but not least, one pair of flip flops.

That's five pair.

Is that excessive? I don't think it really is but I have certainly seen some women with a ton of shoes in their closet...

LOVE SHOES!!! Can't ever have enough pairs... I've got about 75 pairs of shoes/boots... 1 pair of sneakers.... 5 pairs of flip flops. I like variety!

Good question. I don't know! I buy shoes all the freakin' time and I LOVE them but, funny thing - I hate wearing shoes! LOL I love being barefoot!!! I guess my biggest vice is boots. I DO love boots and love to wear them but hard to do in the summer... so in spite of having ALL the shoes I do and really, it's not a lot - (maybe 20 pairs), in the warmer months I live in flip flops unless I'm going out, then I have a select pair of heels I like. Winter time though, I live in boots.
