Some things that go on here that I JUST DONT GET!!
* I dont get why the Adam Lambert thread is still active. Dude is a nobody and hasnt had any music. * Relationship threads like "marry a crossdresser" or any "booby/bootie" thread that goes on forever, but a good thread like the "Character" thread goes away in less than a day. * I dont get the "what does it mean when a woman....." type threads. I mean really, are there THAT many stupid people out there in the world who start threads like this? * I dont get how all the stupid idiotic threads just thrive and the sensible threads go no where.
Who is Adam Lambert? I kept seeing the thread dedicated to him in the Entertainment forum, but never opened it. Guess I should Google the dude's name.

Don't feel old - I don't watch it either. I haven't watched a single episode.
I only learned who Adam Lambert was by reading City-Data and reading a few celebrity news sites.
I don't get Adam Lambert, either. I haven't met any woman in real life so far that is mad about him...or maybe there are, but no one will admit to it...
I agree with you on a lot of the threads - many don't ring a bell with me, yet go on and on and on. And on a lot of them I have nothing to respond to...so I don't! But I hear you...very clearly.

The reason the stupid threads survive is that they just BEG for rebuttals - people can't help themselves. I know I get caught up in some of them...as much as I hate to admit it!!

This is hilarious...the whole time people are writing "who is Adam Lambert?" I'm thinking that I'm not really sure myself but it is probably the guy from Saturday Night Live who kind of looks like Adam Sandler and has a name like his. Turns out his name is Andy Samberg (I think?!) and he is not Adam Lambert!
Funnier still, later today I would not be able to pick either one of them out of a lineup. Adam Sandler, yes, but only because he had one or two decent movies before he started churning out the same film over and over.
Like Judd Apatow is doing now. Sorry....I digress... Of note I have been trying the broom thing ALL WEEK and it has not worked since that day. I know, I know, my life rots, i am waiting for thesis approval... Already alphabetized my CDs and did an hour of yoga today. Going to go run now and then off to work!
