I didn't have time to read through the entire thread, so I apologize if this (or something similar) has already been stated. Personally, I think that mistresses are usually uglier than the wife. Men are choosier in the looks department when it comes to marriage. They'll go pretty low (depending on the situation and the amount of alcohol involved) when it comes to sex, but a wife has to be beautiful.
In fact, I think B-girls who sleep with married men do so because they can't find single men of the same quality who will give them the same amount of attention. A guy like Tiger who apparently likes women a lot more than any of us knew probably had no intention of not sleeping around with various women... he married the most attractive one and kept the others around for nice diversions from the basic (and probably good) routine.
