My Dad demonstrated what a real man is to me. To bad his kind is very rare today. I thank GOD that my Grandfather taught him how to be a "real man" b.k.a. men who care for their women, and feel uncomfortable having a woman do these things that you believe are slave tasks. Baby BOY still has not left the womb!!
Did he also demonstrate to you what a "real woman" is? And how a "real lady" is supposed to act? They are a rare breed these days unfortunately. It seems like the vast majority of women want to be very selective in terms of traditional roles - only want to pick what suits them and that's it.
And besides, I respect men & women alike. I have courtesy and respect for any woman [and man] in my life. I just don't need women to define what a "real man" is to me [you women love to throw that term about]. I bet if I described what a "real woman" and a "real lady" was there's would be a huge uproar of epic proportions on here, and loads of angry women would rip me to shreds. Oh, the double standards. lol

I don't see any double standards. Some women aren't real women, and some men aren't real men. I think we all know what defines each. You're a product of this new lost generation. Surely your father didn't teach you to be this way, but there's no telling.
I've met broke men who are bound and determined to pay on each date. It's not about money, but it's courting properly and being a gentleman. I'm a traditionalist in every sense of the word and so were they.

Yes I most certainly do. I am older, so I am not sure of your age, but yes I was raised to be a very well mannered, intelligent, and classy lady. I was taught to be the bible depiction of a good woman, wife, and mother. She is the Psalm 31 WOMAN!!! Submissive unto one another!! How could a couple go wrong!!! Very rare we will see exceptional relationships, but they do exist!!
