Photos of me are always bad. In fact, I honestly cannot recall a single photo of myself that was any better than mediocre. I don't think I'm that ugly, but for some reason pictures of me are always ALWAYS horrible. If I fake a smile I look like an idiot, and if I don't smile I look miserable or angry. The world loses when I'm captured in picture.
9 out of 10 pics taken of me turn out terrible! I've been told by so many people my pics don't do me justice.
I can't fake a smile to save my life. I have a few pals who can fake an award-winning smile, and take a great picture with no trouble at all.
What about you?
im a pretty ugly dude myself. not photgenic at all. i ahte how my pictures come out especially my smile. for some reason my face looks fat in pics where im smiling, if you see me in real life my face is not fat at all.
I have a big nose...so it depends on the angle. I've been told that my current profile pic is nice. I guess that is why I posted it. Either way, we all have our flaws. Very few people are perfect.

Another Enya fan.
Besides, your nose is alright. I guess a lot of it has to do with personal perception. Many pics of me I find terrible have been called great by others
I turn out allright I just hate posing for photos it just feels unnatural and the pics look forced to me but when I am hanging with friends and someone snaps a pic I look more comfortable because the smile is real and not forced.

Cool topic...anyhow,
Its funny but id have to say that it depends on the above mentioned factors..especially since Photography is my second passion..and i have worked along side professionals..so.
Id say that a couple of the best pictures of myself are: My senior High school picture...and one i took earlier this year for my mysp. profile when i updated things there..
My mom has pictures of me when i was 13 or 14 where i look 9 or 10..lol
The funniest picture ever taken was with an old friend of mine back in the Lawrence KS days... we both were all sweaty after a long night out break dancing and i especially look horrible...its cool, i can poke fun at myself..
And yes, for heaven sake, the "faked" smile pose is never..or rarely at best..a good shot...just be yourself..those always get checked out..
...unless you look like a Psycho killer...then it is best to just hide the camera..lol
