Yeah I was thinking that she was attracted enough for the thought of us being together and then realized that we would be arguing all the time.
Constant arguments are not necessarily the outcome of incompatibility. You could just end up boring each other after a while which would render the relationship 'lifeless'.
I think they saved you heartache and other problems. They were doing you a favor by not pretending there could be something between you. Move on to other candidates and don't dwell on it so much.
