I think you do need lots in common to have a good relationship but different likes and dislikes makes it more interesting.

I do admit that I am judgemental, not just on guys but everything. Been through the s**t that I have been through you can totally understand why I make this statement
Hell NO I don't give a damn about the mans income or what his family is like JUST as long has he has a good honest heart. yep I do like a guy with sexy eyes, clean cut and taller than 6 foot. But a man is so much pickier (I am guessing cause of Hollywoods standards). It is like some single men have a check off list. The list goes like this in numeric order (from some men that i have known from guys who have these sexy eyes):
1. Face must be completely clear of everything, wrinkles and acne
2. every feature must be perfect on the face
3. Teeth must be bleached white
4. Hair must not have ANY grey in it
5. Body must be like a barbie size
6. Hight cant be so tall or so short.
NOoo I don't like men who all the other girls like. BUT I can not stand a guy who trys hard to fit in, that is total weekness in my eyes.
No God is not me so I love God more.
HELLLLLLLLLLLLL no that is why it is SOOOO healthy for women to have their friends to hang with same with men. They need their space. Men do what they want and same with the woman. We don't have to be doing every single thing together, BUT we should communicate with one another yeah.

With the caveat that men and women communicate differently. Each gender needs to be taught how to negotiate their different communication styles.
