I have been doing the online dating thing for a little over a month now, I have met 4 women, 3 turned out to be totally weird and flaky, the other one was a bit weird but we have become friends and she is actually a nice woman, although I could never be in a relationship with her.
Today, I think I have come across a stalker, we exchanged two messages and she wanted to talk on the phone (I gave her my phone #). Then, she sent me a really weird message asking if she could call right away and I said NO, I thought maybe it would a better idea for us to get to know each other first, etc
Although it is hard to generalize, I am starting to notice some repeating patterns, a lot of very emotionally unstable women who probably scare a lot of men away by being too clingy and/or get dumped a lot by their boyfriends.
What really blows my mind about this is the fact that ALL these women are college educated, have good jobs and careers, people that you would see at the grocery store! Something is definitely wrong with our society!

What makes her a stalker?
Are these women initiating contact with you first? Or are you writing to a lot of women and these are the only ones who are writing back?

What's the point of giving her your number if you don't want to talk on the phone?!
What's wrong with the one you hit it off with but that you couldn't date?
She has 3 kids, but the kids live with the Dad, she was in rehab for alcoholism, a history of mental problems, a very fun person to hang out with but I would not want to be in a relationship with someone like her, just too many issues!
if you talk on the phone isnt that a way to get to know them better?
i normally exchange 2 msgs (like 10 sentences total), then a 10 minute phone call then meet up in person. i like to get to know people in person and you never know what you are getting that way! woohoo

Don't give her your home address. She may show up with suitcases ready to move in.
Of course she does. And she has every right to think so, too.
