Saw some chick I used to date had a "real world DC hookup" with someone on the show, and it made the newspaper. This is newsworthy? What is wrong with society?

Give me someone who hangs at the library any day!

I've been asking myself what is wrong with society since every celebrity's and-not-so celebrity's fart became newsworthy

<shakes head> ..the Library..lol..

The 30's can be the best time of one's life..or, should i say, the start of the best times in life..unless you like the smell of old books on a dusty shelf..Naah, got places to see, people to meet, and life to live..

Besides, there really isn't anything worth going to the library for since i was 14..except when my internet connection crashes

I'd hope the 80's are at the end of the tunnel!!
I can just imagine reaching the end to the last 'UH OH!!' at the end of Der Kommissar!!

I don't get the point of the thread.

US society is shallow, this is how it is nowadays.

People still party in their 30's. Folk in my crew party well beyond the 30s lol. My dh is prepping to spin a gig in a few weeks and he's 40. I'm too tired, tho. I don't know how my friends do it. Work zapps all my energy (and house stuff and art).
