Everytime someone goes crazy and kills a bunch of people everyone, including this forum, jumps on the scary loner bandwagon.
Amy Bishop is married with 4 kids.
Just sayin.
I don't think that she was your typical happy warm and fuzzy mom type baking brownies for her kids. And there's some story about her screaming at another mother in a restaurant over a booster seat.
I'd say that she's falls in the category a woman that shouldn't be having kids and raising them. And I hope that her madness isn't something that can be passed onto her children.
Also, I was watching some movie the other night on Lifetime, The Jane Austen Book Club. So why is it that women with black hair and that sort of page boy haircut seem slightly crazy and emotionally on edge? I've known two women with that hair style over the years, and both of them seemed "off".
Your letting entertainment casting color your perceptions.
Who knows what kind of mother and wife she was over a span of 20+ years that's all speculation on your part because why?
As for your other comment, the crazy women I've known are blondes (a preponderance from California). That whole emotional rollar coaster on the pole need a man to feel like a woman all over the emotional map crazy. Talk about shouldn't be having kids.
Right, we don't want brilliant scientists who are married 20 years having kids because they are brunettes.
honestly, that would scare me even more! to know that someone was a loner and did these things, i would think--ok it makes sense. to hear that her own family didn't know anything or see it coming screams OMG dual personality!!
Despite what people and previous posts on this board like to promulgate introverts/loners do not have the market cornered on crazy. In what mindless world does "that make sense"?
I started posting links for all the people with family that have killed but there were just so many.
To think that introverts or loners are killers, or flawed or bad or weird is just the tyranny of the majority.

She is described as very socially awkward. Her students complained of her inappropriateness. She probably has aspergers and/or a mental illness. There's your defense. There are clearly some mad professors out there.
Didn't she shoot and kill her brother and was totally acquitted of it?
