Just because he's having sex with her does not mean he's not gay.

Oh, let's see...he's something like 55 or 56, she's 53. Remember, though, they DID agree to the Pig Contract before getting hitched...it's just now she's getting tired of it, and the level of detachment / viciousness seems to have been cranked up to a new level.
I have never had this particular type of deal, but I have been put on the shelf, so to speak. Good enough to tie me down, have me on his arm in some situations or when he wanted other men to know I was taken, good enough for the intimacy, good enough to be with when he wanted me there on his schedule. But he kept me separate from his kids and kept me a secret from his ex wife with the excuse that the kids weren't ready for a new woman in his life and it was none of the ex's business that he had a girlfriend. I felt used, it sucked. I left him.
Sounds to me like this is more of a sugardaddy-ish arrangement. She represents a clean home, a home cooked meal, sex when he wants it - she serves a purpose. She is an extention of him, not an individual entitled to having her needs met. She may have been okay with it when they started out, but people evolve. Sounds like the trade-off has lost it's luster.
I can't imagine any verbal agreement that would force someone to stay in an unhappy relationship being binding.
